"I've worked with GoDaddy for just under 2 years now. Coming into the company with zero background knowledge regarding Tech and Sales. They made sure I was knowledgable on everything I needed to know right out of the gate. Some supervisors help more than others, but you can always find someone to help make you the best you."
"Working for this company has been such a pleasant surprise. Since being recruited, I was hesitant considering it’s a sales position but there is exponential room for growth with this company and the ability to learn is always available. The benefits, the culture, the overall atmosphere is one of the greatest! They truly care about their employees and want each and everyone to succeed."
"I worked for GoDaddy for two and a half years."
"Lots of management turnover. Some inexperienced managers who were promoted to manager, not for their ability to manage people, but just stuck around long enough to get it through tenure. Many of them thought they knew everything. Kind of a toxic culture, too. Former CEO was great, though."
"Company is going in the wrong direction. They are moving away from being a company for the people and outsourcing more and more as well as utilizing artificial intelligence to replace people."
"I've worked with GoDaddy for about a year now and one thing that is great about the company is its guidance and ability to guide you to do the most for your client. We leverage a very powerful tool in Social Media and given the nature of our product/service, you are always able to keep your clients up to date with the new trends and ways to leave a lasting impression on their client base. The support I have received here has pushed me to grow professionally and learn how to better support my clients and future clients. Chris"
"The company is good and pay well but they lack a true culture. They also are focusing more on shareholders rather than employees. This will ultimately hurt them. When employees are unhappy, everyone suffers. When employees are happy then clients are happy which results in higher spending, which will make the shareholders happy."
"GoDaddy.com is a great place to learn the basics of Web Hosting, however it does very little in the way of training you to do more than support the products they are currently offering. In order to advance your understanding you will have to research new technology on your own time. If you do not mind bringing your work home like I did, then you will have the ability to move your way up."
"I’ve worked for Godaddy for 3 years now. It is a good company with amazing benefits and culture."
"The overall company is good and the vision for the future is strong, however, they are stumbling in executing the vision."
"New management at GoDaddy is changing everything for the worse. Closing offices so they can have all operations on the west coast after the company was built in AZ and IA. It is not the great place it was when Bob Parsons was in charge."
"A good company to work for. The pay is decent for the job tasks at hand, no matter what you position. However, the opportunity to grow is minimal and the companies internal jiggering process is VERY political. Being qualified, or over qualified for a portion means nothing if you aren't in the necessary "groupie" circles."
"Overall good company for building solid skill sets."
"GoDaddy is a good company to work for and I have been there since 2007."
"I have worked for GoDaddy for the better part of four years. It's a fun environment with amazing benefits and great people!"
