"GM ended up as followers of Honda and Toyota, which is why most of their designs were always a step behind. They should have turned a blind eye to what the competition was putting out and just did their own thing."

"I was given an opportunity to pursue the best world-class education and training in the sheet metal stamping field, which could only be obtained by working at GM. I am forever grateful."

"We got a lot of bad press that really didn't reflect reality. GM products meet or exceed competition on every level."

"The best eyes and ears of any company are from those of the people on the production floor. The best managers I have ever worked for realized this and used it to the corporation's benefit."
