"Don't take the job unless you really need something right away, but continue to look for something else."

What don't you like about working at General Motors?

"Even before I was released, with all the cuts in the last three years, they continued to expect everything to get done. So in many cases, one person was doing the work of two to four people, and sometimes more."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Have an everyday car brand, Chevy, and a luxury brand, Cadillac. They don't need the Buick or GMC brands. Make things simple and straightforward; stop making things complicated."
