"Stay away. GE's benefits are not what they were and this is a depressing environment to work in."

"Upper management has very little respect for the technical people that make the wheels go 'round. They care little about anything but image and it shows in the fact that our business has countless quality issues that are not solved."

"Get the right people for a job instead of a friend you had on OMLP that has no idea about the product we produce."

"Excessive travel time to/from work 180 miles rt/dailey, organizational structure among top management(compete AGAINST each other"

"Better design org. structure limitig SR. Management fromcompeting against each other to provide a more concillatory work enviroment for theor direct report peers."

"8 hrs work per day, 2 off's in a week and Infrastructure is good."

"GE is a very good company. You are lucky if you get a job."

"I dont like companies which lay off employees for Economical/Finance reason. It is no where concerned with the performance of the employee."

"My sincere advise is make sure you should not lose good resource for Budget reasons."
