"give specialists updates of new problems, have more documentation."

"The co-workers worked together like a family. I have returned when they hosted blood drives to give blood and see former co-workers (who are all nervous about when the ax will fall on them)."

"Don't look at this for more than a very short term gig."

What don't you like about working at Epicor Software?

"Soon after corporate (in California) bought a similar company in Montreal, the sales reps were instructed to sell the Canadian product and now they are told to try to upgrade existing customers to the Canadian product. It appears that corporate is only looking to keep Sales and Help Desk Support in the Newburgh office."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Instead of letting the US workers go, why not cross train them so that they will be valuable to the product that is taking the place of what we worked on. The US workers already know the businesses of our customers which is a benefit no mater which system is being supported."

"Get everything you can up front, because they will try to screw you every chance they get."

"ROI Systems was purchase by Epicor. At first it looked like it was going to be a good thing, but it quickly became apparent that Epicor was just another large heartless company."

"Be honest with employees. Provide adequate training."

"Don't forget that employee's are human and not machines and contrary to popular belief it isn't all about the revenue!"
