"Well, that's hard to say because our segment of the organization gets largely ignored - even though my department is a revenue generating service supplier."

"The co-workers worked together like a family. I have returned when they hosted blood drives to give blood and see former co-workers (who are all nervous about when the ax will fall on them)."

"Don't look at this for more than a very short term gig."
What don't you like about working at Epicor Software?
"Soon after corporate (in California) bought a similar company in Montreal, the sales reps were instructed to sell the Canadian product and now they are told to try to upgrade existing customers to the Canadian product. It appears that corporate is only looking to keep Sales and Help Desk Support in the Newburgh office."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Instead of letting the US workers go, why not cross train them so that they will be valuable to the product that is taking the place of what we worked on. The US workers already know the businesses of our customers which is a benefit no mater which system is being supported."
