"I like writing code, determining the best way to accomplish a series of tasks. I like the cooperation between coders who are working on different aspects of the same system. I enjoy writing specifications (don't laugh, I do!). I like the hours. I like the fact that I can do my job from any location that supports a high speed internet connection to my workplace."

They gave group pep talks about once a quarter, but their actions did not quite match their words. When a person gets to the level of working at Radiance it is not all about the benefits package, but also knowing you are appreciated for you skills and successes. I would not take it so far as every one gets a participation award but when employees continually do good work they should know and if they are lacking skills in certain areas then they should receive guidance on what is expected and how they can improve."
