"I've worked as a Superintendent for DR HORTON in the Bay Area. The culture is a push push push culture and the pay is OK, nothing special. Upper management was pretty good since they all came through the trades so they were easy to communicate with, but they don't necessarily follow through on their promises. Most of the time you feel like you're on your own and teamwork can be set to the side."
"I've worked for DRHorton for a long time and have worked for both the mortgage side of things as well as the Sales side. This company is vast in its loyalty and honor."
"I've worked for D.R.Horton for almost a couple of years now and I'm truly grateful. D.R. Horton has been the best company I've ever worked for. They treat their employees with respect and care. The team is highly helpful and energetic. I'm always learning and pushed daily to be the best. This job has been a blessing to me."
"Dr Horton has been for the most part a great company to work for. I have learned a lot from a lot of amazing people. I did however find that upper management has a disconnect with its builders. Some decisions made seemed more to benefit themselves rather than the company as a whole. I believe in having a family outlook where we all try to achieve success and help everyone reach that platform. Having been the head of a corporation before I understand that everybody has an important role in our success. Showing respect for and giving employees the tools they need to succeed in their roles should be a priority."
"Great company for consistency. Not real good at promoting people and have the tendency to go back on their word."
"Great management, employees, growth, etc."
"A national company with great family values."
"Fast-paced company while also focused on great customer service. D.R. Horton has competitive pay and cares about its employees.
