"The overall benefits are good. We receive health supplements basically at no charge. The general population is professional in day to day business relations."

"As I said the environment is not hostile at all so it is not generally a bad place to work as long as you are not manager/director and get squished from both sides. If you can get in without being there, go for it."
What don't you like about working at Vitamin Research Products?
"The company has a lack of vision and the overall direction we are told to go from the CEO changes daily. I do not feel the company will sustain itself long term. The company is extremely top heavy with executives."

"Pick a focus and go with it. Deviating on a slight change in marketing response is not viable."

"The healthcare industry is undergoing major changes, both at the state, as well as federal level. The unknown is a little frightening."

"I do not like combat, I do not like it when a soldier dies, I do not like making friends and watching them go on a mission to not return."

"Prove that you are capable and skilled in your area and be able to work independently without micro management."

"My boss tends to be emotional and head strong when it comes to business and makes poor decisions from that that end up being detrimental to the company. These sort of decisions have placed the company in a place where resources are low and the company is not able to provide a proper compensation and maintain business for much longer."

"Professionalism is necessary for a business environment and the clients need to be regarded as necessary and appreciated. Also, trust in the staff's abilities that you have hired to perform their duties appropriately."

"Awesome product, and one of the hardest working teams I had ever been a member of."

"Ask for as much as you can get right off. Raises are non-existant."

"There was no path for advancecment, and the work/life balance was not there."

"Document promices and stick with them. Value the human assets that work very hard to make the company #1."

"Be careful what you ask for. Be prepared to be blind-sided and not supported when trying to implement improvements."

"Just about everything right now - from difficult union people to squabbles between colleges and disenfranchised management."

"To much is given away in union contract negotiations and getting worse. Managers don't stand beside each other enough. Come together and stand for management rights."
