"Not given much control in getting the job done, it was always a challenge to get this. Too much energy focused on this when it should have been focused on the actual responsibilities"

"Very little. Owner an engineer with little interest in the financial/operational aspects of company.Everything pretty much filtered thought Head of IT Department who sees himself as a COO."

"Clearly understand your role and authority to carry out necessary tasks critical to you employment."
What don't you like about working at JDMT?
"Everything cleared to various family members who have very little understanding of the financial and operational aspects of company."

"Small company so I get to see everything and no 2 days are the same"

"Either invest in the current employees or hire more resources to allow more time off"

"Prior to acquisition by Coinstar, this was a great company to work for but now opportunities lacking and upper management needs to learn how to work on their people skills"

"The core GroupEx personnel is like a second family that makes working the long, stressful hours bearable."
What don't you like about working at Groupex Financial?
"New parent corporation and management style very cold, impersonal, and very inflexible when it suites them."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Learn how to manage and motivate your employees. Its not always about the money but how you treat them, talk to them, and interact with them. There are very low-cost or no-cost methods of doing this."

"The passion of the people and their focus on doing what is best for the kids."

"If your focus is Gymnastics you will do very well just be very clear with what your limitations are."

"The interaction with the Board of Directors was a challenge and I feel they could benefit from soliciting Board Members from outside the organization."

"Continue to put the kids and community first while working toward a more diverse Board of Directors."

"It is easy to get too emotionally involved in the success of the company. There is somewhat of a trama-drama high school atmosphere enjoyed by ownership."
