"The City is not realistically addressing its financial issues and its conduct prior to my joining which has led to Grand Jury investigations, lawsuits, poor management decisions, massive losses."

"The long term financial problems will not permit the City to retain competent management."
What don't you like about working at City of Victorville?
"Politics are pervasive - performance is not a factor, but rather relationships with venders and elected officials. Open government and a sense of ethical conduct is not present as shown by multiple lawsuits against the City, its City Manager and elected officials with serious allegations involving criminal matters."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Should be more open to honest discussion of problems instead of public denials. Should listen to professional staff."

"I enjoyed working with my peers. There are some very talented people at McLeod."

"There is no career path. Unless you are a programmer that has no aspirations but coding, you won't be happy here."

"The onwer is a micro-manager and prides himself on his sarcasm."
