What do you like about working at Bay Valley Foods?
"The challenges that exist and accomplishing those to try and make it a better place to work. At times, you really have to go to the carpet to justify what you need to make it all better, but it's a good challenge."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Be careful what you're promised before coming on board with this company. I've been waiting for some time to get to the next level in my career. There are much better opportunities out there than this company. Stay away from the Pittsburgh factory. There's almost no leadership and there's a cancerous culture that undermines others that are not in the right group or groups."
What don't you like about working at Bay Valley Foods?
"The lack of leadership and direction that's given. There is no and there hasn't been a plant manager at my facility in several years. The unethical behavior that continuously goes on with little to no accountability for those who violate, especially from an environmental perspective. Too much of a culture of if you're not in the clique, then they have it in for you."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Make more sound and resonable decisions. The decisions that are made and lack of making the tough decisions are scary for the life of the facility and the business. Instill some leadership at the Pittsburgh facility. It's like a ship without a captain and the people, salaried and hourly, are out of control due to this."

"Working on the product that I am part of: APM"

"Research the product team that you are interviewing for so you have a good understanding what they do"

"Too many different products to work with where strategy does not make sense"

"Flatten the organization with only subset of the key products"

"Working on medical devices and the benefits they bring to the end user."

"Culture at different locations definitely affects the work enviornment. Each building is a different culture, do not expect to have the same environment across the organization."

"Politics at all levels of the organization detract from the ability to get things done."

"Look for solutions that work within the FDA regulations not work arounds."

"Challenging and rewarding projects. Great compensation and good benefits. Atmosphere OK."
What don't you like about working at Wexler Video?
"Gray painted walls were a bit depressing and dark. Some of the staff was a bit of a challenge."

"Always have a real engineer in your employment. The term gets used too loosely."

"Budget ytoo small. Some years better then other. But it was not often"

"It was not for profit. They did what they could.Some projects were delaied too long"

"Management can be blinded by window dressing rather than by actual results. If you did not toot your own horn louder the the next guy your actions and results got under appreciated"

"Start repairing the equipment and improving the plants. Take care of the employees"

"The travel was amazing. I traveled the world 8 different times as I went from Los Angeles to Kharkov, UA"

"We sold this business to SPS Commerce in MN and the San Diego office has since been closed."

"The travel unfortunately took a significant toll on my family. I often times spent 3+ weeks in the Ukraine."
