"Get a good feel for the management style of the VP of the group you're interviewing with - there's a wide variety."

"Too much micro-management from the executive level, and very restrictive regulatory environment."

"Be willing to delegate more to the manager/director level. Don't be so quick to find the flaws in ideas - try focusing on the positives first."

"I like doing up from scratch all sops due the vast challenges and systems that need to be done as a start up company back in 2005. I am given leeway to do whatever necessary to ensure all EP1 tp FP2 iteration stages are done the dfm and dfss way to avoid pitfalls in customer returns. As the product lines and accessories are completely new in market place( a pencomputer with 1GB, 2 GB, 4Gb and 8GB ) with wifI capabilities offer tremendous opportunities to use all my skills for success to happen"

"Improper allocation of resources, money and support services resulting in wasteful expenditures that bring in negligible benefits in making the products work well."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"I finally have to get them to send me to China to set up technicl center and help re-modify, improve the design and bring down costs. For 1.5 years I bring up the team and center in shenzhen China to enable a working product happen and got launched in Mar 2008"
