Submit a Review"As the IT department within the team has undergone changes, the personality of the company has gone away. I do agree that, as the company keeps growing, more professionalism and experience was necessary on the IT management level. The problem unfortunately is that the management came in without any knowledge of the working environment or sector we live in, forcing methods upon the people that do have the internal experience without listening. This caused a lot of unhappy workers, and a big flow of people leaving."

"The opportunity to work within USAID was great, but after coming from the private sector, I found the bureaucracy stifling to the point I often wondered why I was there. Getting things accomplished as we do in the private sector is very difficult - slow and tedious with many supervisors and colleagues either for or against what you wish to do. But in the end it is probably best as your work and recommendations are 'chewed-over' by many people."

"Read the website. Search employees on LinkedIn. Research the clients. Show up to the interview with a lot of questions."

"Management tends to get overly excited about particular employees, which is not an issue. The issue is the sudden shift in sentiment. The rest of us wonder what happened."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Invest equally in all employees. If they're not worth investing in, don't hire them."

"I really enjoy the small team engineering environment we've created over the years. We're also encouraged to be creative in our approach of engineering problems, allowing for new technologies to be incorporated into our projects."

"To be honst in your technical skill and to be ernest in your convictions."

"I would like to move out of the C# environment and move into either a Python or ROR."

"They need to watch their back because the competition is coming fast. When you are in the lead, you alway have a target on your back."
