What do you like about working at GTE Corp.?
"Alcatel USA. I liked traveling and designing the spec package for Alcatel Network Equipment to be installed into CO Locations eastern region."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"I would say that they would need very, very good customer and people relation skills. I would say 90% of this job is getting and forming good relationship skills with the various RBOC Central Office Engineers at all Verizon locations worked in. I would also advise to have good technical skills as well."
What don't you like about working at GTE Corp.?
"I did not enjoy the way management handled some of the ways the detail design engineer had to complete certain aspects of there spec package. Pictures and C.O. location of equipment had to be better documented in order for a timely installation. Needed to have C.O.E. onsite mark our location."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"I liked management and feel I would not have a suggestion, people that I worked for were very good."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Asking questions does not matter since they will not tell you the truth."
What don't you like about working at Electrolux?
"I was hired as a designer at their air-conditioning plant. Three months later we were told electrolux did not want to be in the air-conditioning business and China would make our product. Five months after that I was told I would be changed from a salary employee to a hourly employee because my manager tried to pull a fast one on the union. The union agreement was to have a union member in engineering. Since that person retired and I was the last one hired, I was given a ultimatum to take their offer or be layed off, I took it. When the factory closed, engineering was transferred to a small office and we were told we would be technology pushers for china. Three months later we were layed off but now we did not qualify for plant closure unemployment benefits, just regular benefits."

"Rocore was a very insecure place to work, most of the management was incompetant, and the people I had to work with made me miserable from day to day."

"The only things I liked about working at Rocore is that it helped further develop my skills as a designer, the location was great, and the pay was pretty good."

"I suggest that others interviewing at this company be sure that this is where they really want to work. I would only interview for a job here, as a last resort."
What don't you like about working at Rocore?
"The things I didn't like about working at Rocore, was the work environment, the people I had to work with, and the equipment I had to work with."

"I suggest that management either learn the requirements of their job, or get another job."

"As my first job in the US, I consider the design engineer position at Baldwin is a very solid start. It is a well run company."

"Small town Nebraska. By the end of the 3rd year I was ready to make a move to somewhere has more culture."
