"The potential to grow in different areas of the company if you have the means to obtain the training and experience they value. From a technician's perspective, there is Telephony, Video, Data, and soon Cellular. The growth potential is limited to where you are geographically."

"My fellow techs and supervisor. We stuck to together and that made those mundane meetings and the (truly they were) lies being feed to us bearable. I have never seen a company loose they market position so quickly form indecisive management. Now it is all about skin and bones. They are beyond lean and mean."

"Good luck! Other markets are not as poorly run as NOVA. Overall the company makes money in markets were they are seen in a more positive light."
What don't you like about working at Cox Communications?
"The fact that those in charge have no clue to what is involved in with building and servicing a network. All they see is numbers. They want to base a system analysis off of updated and newer plant designs, to a market that NEVER had any physical plant upgrades. Piece meal at best. The inability to write a contract for contractors and lack of supervision or conformation the work was ever done."
