My territory was a million dollar territory but I have grown it to a now 4.5 million dollar territory in 2.5 years. Company is now going to be acquired by someone else."

They fall down when managing the develop org like a hedge-fund. Covidien struggles as engineering company, as they lack the ability to innovate and execute well from an engineering perspective. The issue lies with middle management... too busy managing up, as opposed to down, and creating a development org that is not focused on execution or delivery."
