"My experience at Covidien, formerly Tyco and Sherwood Davis and Geck was great. I worked in the Quality Department as a QA Inspector, Lead QA Inspector, Calibration Technician. I have 20 + years of experience with the Medical Device Industry and have just recently experienced a company closure January 2014."

What do you like about working at Covidien?

"The freedom that I have to be myself and be successful. I like the fact that I am not micro managed and I am able to do what I need to in order to achieve my goals."

"To be honest and sincere and be a hard worker."

What don't you like about working at Covidien?

"There is really nothing that I dislike about the company."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"To increase stock so that we do not experience backorders."

"It is a good company to work for because of the working environment. However, if you want to get a promotion in a short period of time, then you may need to reconsider it."

What don't you like about working at Covidien?

"This is a good company, so I have not found out the disadvantages of it."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"It has very good leadership in Covidien; what I want to suggest is that maybe they can consider international talents when recruiting."

"I have worked there as a contractor on multiple projects and the people are very nice and outgoing. I hope I could land on a job there again in the future. The environment is great and safe. My Supervisor voluntary helps me look for other opportunities within the company as my contract work is coming to an end. It is very convenient to get lunch and breakfast in addition to the fact that this company has many lounges with microwaves and refrigerators."

"You missed a great company to work for before they were acquired."

What don't you like about working at Covidien?

"They were acquired and everyone was terminated over a period of time."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"If you cut down on spending, the revenues will increase."

"Loved the people in that company, had a wonderful time with wonderful people."

"Really good place to work for. I would like to stay here for longer but because of the situation I have to move. I would definitely come back and work here again. I highly recommend working for Covidien. Both work place and colleagues are really friendly and happy to help to move forward. I highly recommend Covidien."
