"I initially worked for Stream and then they were bought out by Convergys. While I have a good relationship with my supervisor, I do feel that the company as a whole does not value their employees. We migrated from Beaverton to Wilsonville, and losing 60% of our site's workforce was acceptable."

"I would not recommend Convergys. Especially for insurance work. They have no knowledge or background and incentivize unethical and unknowledgeable people into positions of responsibility."

"Convergys has no love for the non-standard call center jobs which it attempts to out source. Technical and remote Management positions are quickly moved around as many of those view traditional call centers as more profitable with their higher turn around.Tenure outside of management has no weight."

"Most of the people at convergys were friendly and fun to work with."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Dont mention your children. Realize that when you sign on for a job your salary could drop if you wanted to change to another job within the company."

What don't you like about working at Convergys?

"Convergys expects that you give up living for them. In a review I was told that I needed to learn that work doesnt end at the end of the work day, and that I needed to find a better separation between work and family, and then the same individual told me there was no separation it was all work."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Review how the companies management treats its employees. Realize that some people have children and lives outside of work and 15 hour work days are not supposed to be the norm for what Convergys pays."
