"no, company no longer exists. I wish it did continue, I would highly recommend."

"retail business hurt by recession. Sales were impacted dramatically. Sad.."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"expansion with additional store and new warehouse was at the wrong time."
What do you like about working at Red Giant Software?
"Great culture, incredible people and knowledge in their fields. Not a bean counter position and not a bean counter culture, freedom was encouraged to get the job done and new ways to find answers was always pushed. Very laid back culture and company, and were always looking for new ways to expand and encouraged employee's to help direction of company so everyone felt like they were really contributing."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Request quarterly reviews at the least, encourage video chats or more frequent face to face meetings to ensure you are on top of what is really important to the managers. Email doesn't always stress the priorities within this company."
What don't you like about working at Red Giant Software?
"Very poor communication throughout the company as a whole. As a virtual company constant communication was needed but often times problems were not addressed until it was too late within the company and more often then not they were ignored."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Better communications and more frequent reviews. Most employee's felt they were a little in the dark about their performance unless they did something great and were acknowledged. With managers being over 2,000 miles away in some cases there was very little job performance communication in comparison to what should have been in place."

"Very close to my home; occassional travel; accounting staff very knowledgeable and hard working"

"The companies reputation was beginning a downhill slide and the owners blamed everyone else instead of stopping their own unethical, and illegal, actions."

"NONE - the company no longer exists because of the owners' actions"

"Can be enjoyable when not being micromanaged or treated like property."
What do you like about working at Wayne Chemical?
"The ability to work at the pace that suited me. Since I was the only one in the department, I rarely have to wait on others in order to complete my work."

"Sadly, with the current management, my only advice is NOT to interview."

"The President had a tendancy to mircro-manage people like he didn't trust the people he had hired and like he owned you. After the President left, the VP was even worse. It was normal for her to demand meetings be held with her for almost everything and then she wouldn't show up."

"1. Trust the people you hire to do their job. 2. If it's not broke, don't break it so you can try to fix it! 3. If you request/demand a meeting, SHOW UP! 4. Stop using all your cliches, do your job, and let your employees do theirs!"

"Be prepared and honest. Must have a strong mentality to deal with corporate politics and ready for working a lot of hours for exempt staff."

"Newly restructured management are very much under staffed, which creates hostile and unhealthy working environment. Could not take vacation and when the max vacation accrual reached, it can no longer be accruable (lost)"

"Wonderful people. Very high team attitude, lots of inter/intradept cooperation, everyone takes pride in their job. CEO/COO are both savvy yet caring; opportunities to grow in your job (ie take on new tasks, innovate better ways to perform tasks). Encourage promotion from within"

"All in all, unless money is your prime motivator, then it's a good place to work/grow."

"Limited mobility at my level (CFO is a long-term employee); pay is a bit below market."

"None, really. I believe they've developed the best environment socially and financially that they can given their current level of sales."
