"Progressive with the best of technology. Allowed to build a strong team and interface effectively with marketing, sales, and operations. Real time on line accounting system implemented and directed my myself."

"The company and all three divisions were sold to VSA Inc. The operations were folded into their corporate structure."

"CEO was a visionary. At times cautionary advice financially to grow more steadily and less strain on financial resources were not followed."

"To grow the company aggressively, yet take the forecasts seriously."

"The company was purchased by Von Houtte of Canada. Since purchased by Green Mountain and now owned by Aramark. Industry in consolidation mode."
What don't you like about working at Orchard Corner Coffee?
"The capital to grow the company sometimes was restricted by available credit. 2008 resulted in a reduction of working capital by the bank. (lines of credit) and interest rate increases. Loss of customers due to closing led to sale."

"Management which included me evaluated the business model and as the business was still profitable outside investors may have been another effort to pursue."

"For the most part, the people are great to work with. However, the bonus plan, compensation, and benefits are lacking."
What don't you like about working at Stoltzfus Feed & Supply?
"The President and his wife micro-managed the business. With a few exceptions, the management team that they hired were not given the autonomy to make decisions. The President approves nearly every purchase, invoice, and expenditure."

"I would place greater trust in my management team. Just about every decision had to be run by the President, which created inefficiencies."

"Plenty of untapped potential for the company. Need more focus on broader number of customers."

"Focus on being cheap. The company is cheaper than Wal Mart with bonuses and pay."

"Too much favoritism. CEO is a premadonna who is so full of herself."

"Stop focusing on the baby boom generation as your only customer. They are dying off."
