"The management culture has contributed to make CIGNA a trying place to work. Many new managers are inexperienced in healthcare and it feels that management considers the employees that they don't have better than any that they do have."

"Appreciate the employees that you have and develop and reward them."

"The diversity and complexity of the work I was doing, I loved working with the people I was managing and developing at the time."

"Strategy was all over the place, changed too frequently and eventually led to the major layoffs and decline in CIGNA stock."

"Focus on IT growth in alignment with the business needs, where their competitors are, and specifically define these goals in a well developed 2-5 year plan that they stick too, and change ONLY when critically necessary."
