"The salary is very limited and many strategies are overruled or directly contradicted by upper management. There are many over-promoted senior managers at cbeyond."

"With the proper training in place, willing sales people and even those without sales experience can be put in position to not only achieve sales goals, but also grow the business."

"I enjoyed my time at Cbeyond - it was a great introductory sales job, however the management is not the best and you're constantly worried about your job whether you're a top performer or someone who skates along just barely touching quota."

"Cbeyond was the most competitive environment that I have ever experience than any other sales force where we meet or over achieved our sales goals; I was part of a company that was debt free, organically grown and was at the top of our industry."

"just be prepared to work hard and everthing will take care of it's self. No one will tell you to do something they havent already done nor something they wouldn't do."

"There wasnt anything that I would say I didnt like about the company other than sometimes the product or billing wasnt sufficient all the time, but thats every business."

"Office is close to home. T-1 lines are valuable and a needed tool by mid range companies. The company is growing."

What don't you like about working at Cbeyond?

"I just graduated and have been working for 10 months with little or no management. Money motivates me therefore sales is my chosen field. However, I need a positive and supportive manager to help me perform to the best of my ability. Upper management is too young. Most of the employees are my age. I feel that a successful company needs people with experience leading the team."

"I understand in sales you don't get what you deserve, but you get what you negotiate. I strive to be a sales superstar. I have the people skills and motivation. I have been academically trained in school. Now I need to be professionally trained in the corporate world. Management needs to prepare and guide eager entry level sales reps!"
