1.9 Stop the micro-management. If you hired employees based on their high skills then after sufficient training you can trust that they can at least answer a phone call without been over monitored. I am all for QA this is extreme especially when you watch seasoned employees still being treated the same. If one manager likes you they all do, and I did not have that problem however have watched people singled out and disliked for no reason, it felt like high school and they were much older than most of the team.Some managers do not acknowledge their employees yet every morning expect them to hit their goals and barely say hello. I believe that you should at least acknowledge your employees. I am talking about saying hello face to face and they ignore you or look at you like you are way beneath them, definitely gone were the bright faces that welcomed you once you walked in the door, even before training was over they instantly changed. I really thought I was in a movie.

3.2 Cbeyond is going through very dramatic growth changes. You absolutely want to be as far away from Cbeyond as possible during this time because they do not care about you or anyone else around you as it's all about the numbers. Every three months 100+ sales people get fired and a new slew of them are brought in, once they realized that was bad for sales/long term they slowed that down and started doing it to other areas of the company instead. Very bad place to work, I'm anxious to leave.

3.3 Cbeyond is a great company to work for if you are seeking your first job in the IT Support/Call Center arena. The pay is low and micro-management is high (sometimes a necessary evil for younger workers). Be prepared to either move up or move out after 1 year. Cbeyond recently opened up a Call Center in The Philippines and may be moving their lower-level Call Center Support there,
