"Capital one is a great company that strongly believes building a strong culture. This is a selling point for many associates who stay with the company for many years, including myself."
"I don’t recommend working for Capital One. By far this is the worst company I’ve ever worked for. The managers don’t care if you have a health issue or personal issues outside of work. They only care about the business and see you as a number. Training was not good either as you are not taught everything you need to know prior to taking calls. Almost all associates that were in my training class no longer works for Capital One which tells a lot. The managers and trainers need to do better. The majority of the customers are rude and all around the job itself is stressful you aren’t paid enough to deal with what is thrown at you."
"It is a great working environment"

"It is a great place to start working and get an incredible feeling of banking in the company of great teammates. Unfortunately now is falling behind in the salary compensation amount big banks"
"Great company to work for. Pros: Great tech stack. Fantastic campus in Plano. Managers are smart. Con: Work-life balance for contractors is bad. Too dependent on Indian consulting firms. And their communication is terrible. Plano is a rather boring place to live/work. Suburbia at its worst."
"I enjoyed my journey of the project from the business stand and technical stand point. I would highly recommend this company for everyone as a place to learn and ever growing on the both technical and domain side of it. I am fully satisfied with the work flow within the project and career growth as well."
"They need to change the way they evaluate employees. there needs to be more clear and helpful communication between employees and leadership."
"Excellent companies in every measure. Unfortunately, they made the decision to exit the mortgage business."
"Great place for new technology grads to enter and start careers. Many of them climb up or find jobs at FAANG after a couple of years."
"I worked for Capital One Bank for 7 years. My past experience working there was very exciting, challenging, full of energy and most of all i got to learn new things and mortgage underwriting. My supervisor was very helpful and was always determined to teach us and correct us whenever necessary."
