"It was a positive company to work for, and gave me the opportunity to explore the financial sector."

"I liked the ongoing training, the fairness, the incentive program, and most of all, keeping us in the loop with what was going on with the company at all times, be it good or bad."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"The only tip I have is to just be yourself, as Capital One hires for your ability to fulfill your position with no discrimination of any kind."

What don't you like about working at Capital One?

"I did not like to be given a time to quit. I just loved working around the clock. When you work for a place that was so comfortable it seemed that you just don't mind working until all hours. I guess this was my downside, not the company's fault."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"I would like to have suggested that management give us a tad bit more privacy in regards to our workspace. We had cubicles which were half glass and half material. I was distracted at times by my fellow co-workers congregating at a neighboring cubicle, sometimes making it difficult to fully understand a conversation with a client on the phone. It happens in all environments, I understand, but I can't find anything that I would take up with management, as they had all areas covered very well."

"I'm a people person who enjoys talking on the phone while coming to a mutually beneficial agreement in regards to their past due loan balance."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Work hard and keep an open mind when speaking to customers, as one result may not work for all customers."

What don't you like about working at Capital One?

"I can't think of anything I did not enjoy about working at Onyx other than having additional job titles. For example, senior loan counselor or specialist, once someone has exceeded the role of their current title as loan counselor."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Instead of a biweekly email of balances moved, I would have liked to see my progress a little more frequently since a bulk of our performance was based on balances moved to reach our monthly goal."

"I liked the large-scale, fast-paced environment at Capital One."

What don't you like about working at Capital One?

"I didn't like the lack of communication between our main branch in Plano, Texas and our satellite locations."
