"Unless you want to work 10 - 14 hours a day all year and worry about your job security look towards a different employer. use to be you could breathe during the winter and prepare for the next year,.nope, get ready to push snow"
What don't you like about working at Brickman Group?
"poor leadership beyond the branch level.Have worked with the company for quite a long period of time, this is important to note, as I currently see the morale continuing to nose-dive due to poor senior leadership above the branch manager level. The loss of caring for the ops manager, acct manager and branch manager is demotivating."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Regional managers provide almost zero benefit to the branches in terms of leadership or sales support. Eliminate regional management and you wont miss a beat but what you willl get is some much needed overhead elimination"

"Growth opportunities, location, interacting with various organizations and people. Working within a community."

"Be knowlegable in all area's of finance. You must be able to adapt to change."

"Board of Directors were clueless to what was truly going on and shortly after I left the CEO/VP and Board was dissolved."

"Remember you are in small communities and large communites. Most members have been around for years and expect some common courtesies."

"Great people, great customers, great hours. I have a good boss who helps me the best he can."

"Be focused on your ability to sell but be prepared all work comes from the collections list."

"Reduced bonuses, no raises in 3yrs. The continued closing of Branches and firing of employees"

"If management would listen to the employees the company would not be in this position. There is huge disconnect between management and staff."

"The work, the people, the clients, the money. We worked long hours seven days per week but we enjoyed it."

"the company is not longer in business and the industry is in bad shape right now the economy doesn't help either."

"the wrong industry, with the house bubble the industry went down until today."

"Coming from a larger financial institution I had issues with the technology being somewhat antiquated and limited."

"I think all levels of management need to stay close to the vision of what makes the company great. Stay involved in the branch's activities and the desired results will follow."

"There is not one negative comment I could think of to describe about this company."

"In our local office I was management. I openly welcomed any and all comments and suggestions from my staff in an effort to improve upon anything."

"Pretentious and ill informed managers make life completely miserable while working there."

"Be prepared to walk in the door with drive and anticipation and have it all sapped within the first 6 months with words like, Well that is a good idea but it won't work here."

"Pay is crap, work hours expected are unrealistic at best. Management could less care about employees, they are more worried about their next position."

"Pick an actual direction that each NEC would be able to follow as opposed to dictating a solution with a shovel and you need a hose."

"NOTHING. THERE COULD HAVE BEEN A GOOD CULTURE BUT IT WASNT."

"Nothing good. I already told everything I could or wanted to."

"Make it more customer centric as well as employee friendly. Employees need to be paid well. All are underpaid and overworked."

"Family atmosphere, and freedom to work at own pace. The friendly native Alaskans who welcomed us to their villages"

"The interviews are easy. .The interview was the easy part, being allowed to take the reigns is the hard part"

"The constant visits from Operations Manager who only came to find things wrong and thats all he found"
