"I love working and constantly improving myself and my processes to achieve the highest degree of quality in my work."
"Boeing is not a good place to be an IT person these days, especially in the Puget Sound. They're in the midst of outsourcing everything they can to kids out of school located in other locations in the US, as well as offshoring work to subs from India and Russia. The benefits are fantastic, but the long term job outlook is not good. Another thing to be aware of is the large bureaucratic inhibitors to bringing in leading edge technologies."
"I have worked for Boeing for 1 year on a contract and I really enjoyed my time there."
"This is my third time working as a contract Engineer at Boeing, and I have worked on their 737, 757, 777, and now their 787 Dreamliner programs. The work environment is good and my co-workers are good people as well."
"The workload was heavy, and each analyst was required to learn the Boeing software with minimal training. The structural analysis position required 10 to 20 hours per week overtime, as the workload was heavy. There were many opportunities to learn and expand your knowledge base. For structural analysis, Nastran was used primarily, with either Patran or Hypermesh."
