"I would recommend being calm and collected. It would be prudent to practice answering questions before interviewing."

What don't you like about working at Baxter International?

"There wasn't much I disliked, just the lack of windows in the building I worked at. There was some communication issues between the two buildings on campus even with Instant Messaging software."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Management could have improved the communications between the different buildings on the campus that I worked at. At times it was hard to acquire aid regarding issues, without wasting precious time."

"People are very kind, and management is very reasonable and caring."

"Don't be too show off, share caring with people and the ability to get job done."

"I don't have anything negative about the people, only that the building could be real hot in summer."

"Open to more conversation, and get better services from headquarters."

"Terrific products and smart people. I have assembled a terrific team. We've increased the speed of product development to a place never before seen at Baxter."

"Be competent and be confident - and chances are good that you will get a job offer. Be aware of the Culture and search your heart to see if you fit, however, before you commit."

What don't you like about working at Baxter International?

"Very hierarchical and very impersonal. It's quite a feat to offer new ideas and ways of achieving results. There is a lot of pressure to keep the status quo."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Grow a Culture that is more personal and an organization that is more flat. I laugh every time I get an E-mail that talks about changing the Culture. We don't change with E-mails - we change by knowing and trusting our Leadership and following their vision."

"I love the work I do and the people I work with. It is interesting and capturing. I love staying busy and continually learning."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"It helps to know about data mapping and mining. I luckily came in with a lot of data experience. Team work is very important, no matter what your role is."

What don't you like about working at Baxter International?

"There is not a lot of opportunity to move forward in the company. The people are great, but there needs to be more focus on developing your employees."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"More training programs, and recognize all employees for the effort that they put in by allowing them to take on more responsibility."

"Strong ethics, strong teamwork, strong leadership, and strong manufacturing practices."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"The interview process was much easier than some of other companies I have interviewed. That is a good thing. Instead, some companies challenge you to the core and take their sweet time about an hour to get whatever is up to your brain out and simply say good luck at the end. (they judge you too soon before seeing what are you capable of). I'm talking about other companies, not the one I was with."

What don't you like about working at Baxter International?

"Salary was a little too low to compare with other competitive companies I know. But overall I give the company 8 out of 10 salary wise."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Mostly management group worked within the standard of the regulations and practices. They could put more effort to cope with employees. That would be nice."

"Challenging healthcare business that makes it very interesting, but huge company."

"Huge company, just a number that doesn't make it interesting."

"Be involved with the employees, more employee involvement on daily tasks."

"It's a big facility so relevant experience is necessary for the position applying for."

"Decision making was remote and at too high of a level."

"Exiting the software business, otherwise there are no negatives or downsides."

"Keep the current environment, everything seems to be working so I wouldn't change anything."
