"I worked with Baxter for four years. In that time, I found most of the people to be easy to get along with. My direct management were hard working but it seemed senior management would often lead the teams on "soup-du-jour" efforts and they often had conflicting goals. It was very common to hear about some type of company reorg at least once a year."

What do you like about working at Baxter International?

"I enjoyed the opportunity to work with talented healthcare professionals. Many of the team leads and supervisors were very helpful and knowledgeable on the tasks that needed to be done."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"I would recommend being calm and collected. It would be prudent to practice answering questions before interviewing."

What don't you like about working at Baxter International?

"There wasn't much I disliked, just the lack of windows in the building I worked at. There was some communication issues between the two buildings on campus even with Instant Messaging software."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Management could have improved the communications between the different buildings on the campus that I worked at. At times it was hard to acquire aid regarding issues, without wasting precious time."

What do you like about working at Baxter International?

"I love the work I do and the people I work with. It is interesting and capturing. I love staying busy and continually learning."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"It helps to know about data mapping and mining. I luckily came in with a lot of data experience. Team work is very important, no matter what your role is."

What don't you like about working at Baxter International?

"There is not a lot of opportunity to move forward in the company. The people are great, but there needs to be more focus on developing your employees."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"More training programs, and recognize all employees for the effort that they put in by allowing them to take on more responsibility."

"They were flexible with hours and although as an intern I did not receive health benefits, those that were offered were very comprehensive."

"I would have preferred to to be more challenged in my job. I like to stay busy, and would have liked to be assigned more tasks."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Management should have lab experience if they are going to be managing a lab."

"The slow transition in some areas of the company when changes were needed."
