Submit a Review"The people can be a blessing or a curse. They expect super fast service, but forget about accuracy, which takes a little time. Most people were friendly and understanding. You are responsible for large sums of money, making the job slightly high stress."

What do you like about working at Bank of America?
"I love the customers and being able to take time when possible to review important information and see if my co-workers missed anything that could be found during an audit. Also it is really nice when you help someone and they thank you for what you did and you can tell that they mean every word of it."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"If you want to learn about banking and have lots of sales goals to meet then apply. If that doesn't sound like it's your cup of tea then you could get a job at a grocery store which would be a lot less stressful and you would bring home about the same size pay check."
What don't you like about working at Bank of America?
"I hear stories about other banking centers and how smoothly they operate, this cannot be said for some. I often feel like I'm working at a circus and due to recent changes in the structure of the company I don't see it getting any better."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Get your act together. I know that you are always busy on your BlackBerrys and answer countless emails daily but I think that you need to look into these dysfunctional centers a little more. At the rate that people leave and go to other companies it says a lot about the branch management. It's starting to be a trend that needs to be looked into and things need to be fixed."
What do you like about working at Fulton Bank?
"Very little- health benefits are the only reason I'm still there"

"Be content to make 15K a year until you die."
What don't you like about working at Fulton Bank?
"I am bored to tears every day with the work I do"

"More focus on listening to employee suggestions and making sure employee needs are met before those of the management are met."
What do you like about working at Wells Fargo?
"I like the great benefits and incentives. There is so much room for advancement with Wells Fargo."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Definitely make sure you are a goal-oriented person. You must be able to concentrate in a semi-hectic work environment. Look good in a suit."
What don't you like about working at Wells Fargo?
"I dislike pushing sales. The constant interaction with customers during a sales pitch is stressful."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"I would bring banking back to its roots. I would get rid of all the ridiculous charges and only give the customer what they need."
What do you like about working at County of San Diego?
"I liked the job security, but mot too much after that was very enjoyable."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Look at San Diego County Credit Union as a great place to get good on-the-job training and experience. Last as long as you can and try to move up the ranks, but don't expect it to be a long-term job."
What don't you like about working at County of San Diego?
"Working in one of the branches in the credit union can make even the happiest person run for the hills. Customer interaction was rough, but management only seemed to make it worse. It didn't matter what went wrong because it was always the teller's fault. Not good incentive to keep your front line employees happy (or even healthy)."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"I would have spent more time to figure out what the employees needed. Try to set realistic goals for sales team. Do something about complaints around the branch."

"The culture of the company is very open and personable. The customers are always friendly as we are to them. And my co-workers along with my management staff are great to work with"

"The company itself is great to work for. Once hired, one will not regret starting as a new employee."
What don't you like about working at Northwest Savings Bank?
"I have nothing to complain about. The company is a well rounded corporation."

"None. Management of Northwest Savings Bank does a great job in what they were trained to do."

"To be honest probably the people I worked with. Nothing else."

"I would say be prepared for a mass interview and wear nice clothes. Also you should practice answering questions on the spot. So practice that."
What don't you like about working at Bank of America?
"They are in no way loyal to their employees and pay less than other banks. Also they treat their customers pretty bad as well."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Well the managers at the branch were very nice. But corporate could have been a little nicer to their employees."

"I liked the consistency and assisting customers through out the day."

"Are you tempted to steal large sums of money Then this is not the place for you."

"I didn't like the slow pace we had to conduct transactions and the limited amount of work we had to preform."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Delegate task out and a consistent branch manager would be helpful. With a constant change of branch managers made it difficult to know what management desired."

"The main thing that I like about working with this company is the costumer interaction and the pat on the back when you meet their needs."

"To expect a warm welcome and to do your best."

"The hours and the lack of consistencies with the scheduling sometimes."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"The scheduling to be more consistent even if that means no time off, but at least I would know ahead of time that I do not have time off."

"not being able to move up real fast and having to wait a long time"

"I enjoyed being a teller at Chase Bank, but I wanted a career change."

"Be personable and friendly. When in personal banking everything is about building longstanding, trusting relationships."
What don't you like about working at Chase?
"They pushed us to do too many sales, I love sales, but it is extremely rude to ask the same customers day in and day out to upgrade/change their accounts when they continuously state that they would prefer not to."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"They need to take into consideration the location of each branch. Some of the locations have different traffic every day while others rarely see any new faces."

"I like dealing/handling money every day and like my co-workers."

"Talk about responsibility (being on time) and accountability and discretion."

"Feel stuck with no opportunity to move up in this career."

"I would give people more responsibility who deserve it and allow more advancements from within."

"The happy customers and the busier moments. The resources available to move within the company."

"It's all about sales if you're working within Community/Business or Retail banking. Customer service is a huge plus too. Gotta love the people, even the cranky ones that don't know they're spending their own money."

"The incredibly rude customers. The mundane day to day. No play."

"Make more time to help employees progress, whether within their job title or up within the company."
