"Depending on the department. At least in support make sure you are capable of thinking outside the box when it comes to troubleshooting."

"Outsourcing to India and the lack of movitation and knowledge they bring. They create more work rather than finish work."

"Get rid of the outsourcing in india. Train people and better communication"

"The people I work for and directly under are very nice. Management may not have a clue though."

"I would consider Allscripts a stepping stone. If you are looking for something permanent, this place will burn you out in no time."

"Their compensation is very poor and raises occur slowly and seldom even with great reviews. Allscripts also is happy to require an 80 hour workweek."

"Reward the employees who are building this company. Start paying the developers you need to make this product right."

"my contract was over and I was happy if work was extended"
