"I contracted at Air Liquide America, LLP, from 2000 to 2003 and then again from 2007 to today for a total of nearly 10 years. I've had the pleasure of working with some very engaged people who are focused on providing their customers with great solutions. Air Liquide is challenged by a business view of IT as overhead, an expense, as opposed to a way to innovate."

"I am no longer with Air Liquide. The project ended."

"I was working a project jo b with a beginning and end. Anyone pursuing permanent employment should not apply for this type of work."
What don't you like about working at Air Liquide?
"The company management had never had document control before. It was difficult bringing them into controls. However at the end of the project all of them were 100% appreciative."

"Use your controllers and appreciate their abilities. Include them in appropriate meetings."

"I liekd workign with the peopel I supported. They always presented new chalanges. I also like supporting the executive, it providede me with satisfation with my little part in making the company function smootly."

"There was not a lot of emphasis on work/life balance and there were also nto a lot of oportunity to advance further."

"Pay more attention to the nature of the client and not avbout raw nubers. Quantitatiuve assessment is not complete without some qualitative assessment."

"Too much micro management from upper management. They need to leave depot decisions more in the local managers hands."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Stop micro managing on such a large scale. The pople on the ground have more knowledge about the situation at hand."
"Overall good place to work. I think company does need some overhaul in terms of organizational changes and reducing top down approach. Getting to know doers will help company significantly to improve performance and boost morale of workforce"
