"Keep a positive mental attitude, be yourself and open and flexible."

What don't you like about working at Air Liquide?

"A very few managers habitually lie to employees, engage in unethical behavior and are a real drag to the company's performance. There is a distinct culture of micromanagement present and employees are directed to not speak up about anything. Sales staff and sales management is regularly churned and management will do anything to make their numbers. Sometimes customer satisfaction seems a distant priority."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Weed out the manager wannabes, posers and those who are primarily office politicians."

"No, they are very easy going and if you have a good work history and the required skills you will be hired."

"Too much micro management from upper management. They need to leave depot decisions more in the local managers hands."

"Stop micro managing on such a large scale. The pople on the ground have more knowledge about the situation at hand."

"The rotational progras you are in as a new hire make it difficult to stay with you family."

"I wouldn't know enough to change what the business has already started."

"The money, thats about it. Some of the people are good."

"Stay out of the politics, work hard, try to get working under one of the few competent managers there if you want to get anywhere"
