"The company should always judge the person on the amount of potential a person has, and not on the basis of some personal grudges that may exist between staff and the junior managers."

"There should be proper segregation of teams working under a single manager."

"Just be yourself. The management at ADP not only hired people who are well-qualified for the position available, but they also look for people that will fit in well with the current employees. Everyone who works in the sales department is like a family."

"I liked the people I worked with and working in a team to achieve results. But also, I liked having the freedom of developing your territory and working with partners such as CPAs and banks (Chase, Bank of America, Wachovia, BBVA Compass, Comerica)"

"Have a game plan from day one and get to know your territory inside and out. Go to networking events as much as possible."

"It wasn't challenging."

"Challenge your employees by thinking outside the box and taking chances."

"There was a lack of support and recognition from management."

"Appreciate what you have instead of focusing on what you don't have."

"The benefits were good, and I had time to spend with family."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"They will promise you that you can make over $100k in your first year. I can promise you that you will win the lottery with similar odds of being correct. When the company rejects a $265k deal you have ready to go because the SPOUSE of one of the employees had the gall to survive cancer, you will find it a bitter pill to swallow."

What don't you like about working at ADP?

"The pay is not what they promise... not even close! The constant churn of employees and managers creates a bad environment."

"Pay better, and stop pretending that selling PEO is the same as selling payroll."
