"Lumping senior level administrative assistants which require 10+ years of experience in the same category and payscale as fresh out of college associates. They are outsourcing admin jobs to South America."

"Review your practices of lumping highly experienced personnel with recent graduates."

"Stay connected with employees and make sure that they know who their directors and other Sr. Exec. people report to so that what happened to me and others like me would not occur."

"Accept a job at Accenture only if you have no other job prospects. If you do work there, make sure you know EXACTLY what is expected of you on a project, and have this written down and accepted by your supervisor before you begin work on the project."

"The constant travel, project supervisors."

"You promote people too quickly. Your supervisors are incompetent, and they blame their resources when projects don't go well. If you already haven't done so, you must give employees the opportunity to rate their supervisors."

"At the time, it was still Andersen Consulting, so the name Andersen meant you were one of the best, working for the best consulting companies in the world."

"It's best to work for this company if you're single. It can cause havoc on you if you are married and have children."

What don't you like about working at Accenture?

"The work schedule was terrible. For example, my worst time was living in Arlington, VA but working in Littleton, Colorado. I would fly out of Dulles Airport Sunday night, work Monday through Friday in Colorado, and fly back to Virginia. I did this from October 1999 to March 2000... every week for 5 months."

"Don't just say work and life balance. Back up your talk with actions."
