"I’ve worked at General Motors for the last four years. I found it to be a fast paced and demanding environment in which everyone has the ability to stand out if they are willing to put the work in. The working hours in warehousing or manufacturing can be a lot to handle but the compensation makes up for it."

"More focus is needed for training managers who are responsible for new areas they are not familiar with."

"Your job at GM was to keep your boss happy; it was not to sell product. I believed we existed to sell and market product. The culture noted caused GM to go bankrupt."

"I disliked everything else: management has its head in the sand (still), and the organization is a monarchy. If you are one of the chosen elite, you will succeed in spite of doing nothing but receiving reports from those doing work and making absurd decisions to help run the company into the ground."

"Give up the monarchy system. Start believing what the customer is saying - through Consumer Reports."
