What suggestions do you have for management?

"Take a longer look at sales support, particularly in the areas of App Support and QWERTY requests. Responses are often off target and do not solve the issue at hand. Often the person who is resolving the issue could pick up the phone and achieve quick resolution by gaining additional info. Instead the issue is constrained by forcing it through the QWRTY tracking system."

"I was paid 40 percent below the prevailing wage, and management kept hiring incompetent people as product managers, preferring personal friends with no experience with computers over computer-savvy people."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Please listen to employees who find errors in your database. I routinely found errors in which more capable computers were listed with prices that were lower less capable ones in the same product line; the product listed on the main screen and advertised in the catalog was different from the one listed in the components of bundled offers, such that the customer would actually get the right computer for the price but with a slower processor, smaller hard drive, home version of Windows instead of the Pro version, etc., and Zones would have pay for its return, pay to ship the one the customer expected, and sell the more expensive model for hundreds below cost. So the more effective my ads were, the more Zones lost money, and because I tried to correct the errors, I was placed on report, and I had to leave."
