"Greater oversight on policies to prevent top sales reps. from leaving to competitors, eliminate corrupted managers who will do anything to advance their favorites or golfing buddies without merits."

"Good people in my group, Glendale is a nice city to work in. Playing with the latest tools."

"You're not interviewing at some boring IT shop. Be prepared: know your algorithms, know your coding stuff. Be up on the latest Java or Ruby on Rails. (I can't tell you the number of people I've helped to interview who were surprised at our high expectations.)"

"Compensation package is a little weak compared to places like Yahoo or Google: great 401k, good medical, fair salary. Stock options What is this stock option thing you speak of Substantial discounts on AT&T mobile, U-verse, home phone service."

"Do a salary survey. Be willing to spend on the good guys. And for goodness sake, stop positioning yourselves as an IT shop: we're a Ruby on Rails using the latest and greatest dot-com stuff!"
