"Wyndham Hotel Group is a great environment to work in. The people are friendly and the facilities are great. It is difficult to move up in the ranking. I have seen multiple people leave and come back for a better position, simply because they could not get promoted."
"Company culture not great! As a CMA, you have no life. High turnover and management writes you up instead of encouraging you. All of my friends have left the company and you need to be the top CMA to see a decent livable wage. Management always trying to be positive but always hide the truth of the job and logistics of what really goes on. Extremely low pay of $8.50/hr per base and they don't tell you until you come in person for the offer. Company culture and morale can be improved."
"I've worked for Wyndham telesales for over 6 months and the work environment is fun and laid-back. The potential for growth is wide open. The job description can be repetitive and not as challenging as one may desire. Overall a good workplace for someone looking for a career in sales."
"No integrity, fraud in the workplace... beware!"
"Promises, promises - continually broken. Under-appreciated."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"At least 50% of what they tell you - just like their sales team - is false. Don't even bother applying. Save yourself the nightmare and go with ANY other company."
What don't you like about working at Wyndham Worldwide?
"The upper management are deceitful, untrustworthy, and ignorant. They are overpaid off the hard work of those below - and they cut the pay of those below every year. They are so out of touch with what goes on. Favoritism, nepotism and discrimination are their mantras. They have created an environment of intimidation, where employees cannot express their opinions because of retaliation. They have no idea of direction. It is not surprising that there is so much turnover and job openings now. HR plays along to protect themselves and the company, not the employees. Very sad."

"They micromanage everything, you are constantly being told what you are doing wrong, multiple coaching forms are expected, and you get fired for something you didn't even do, even though you have 20 people to back you up that say otherwise, yes TWENTY people."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Stop breathing down your employees' backs all the time and let them try and do a good job on their own. I understand the need for training, but after you've been there for a couple years, you would think you'd have a handle on things for day-to-day basis. HR needs to do a more complete investigation before firing someone. I was wrongfully terminated there after an employee faked a back injury, then wrote up a 5-6 page report on every employee who ever did them wrong. Nothing was proven, he couldn't remember what he put in the report, yet they took it anyway and acted on it before checking his story out."
