"I worked for Wipro for 2 1/2 years as a network build engineer. They have 5 data centers in the U.S. and some in Europe and Asia as well. Wipro started life as Western Indian Products so headquarters and a lot of the staff are in India. The other engineers I worked with are very competent. Documentations is a bit scattered and can be hard to find. Otherwise it's a fair company to work for."

It's a large international company with assets in India, Europe and the U.S. but customers found it hard to get help working on urgent issues. After 2 1/2 years I still did not entirely understand the internal infrastructure as documentation and job responsibilities were divided. I also honestly felt the company was trying to run an international data center business on a shoe string budget and they had cash flow problems. I was laid off on a down sizing due to those issues. I was the only build team member in the Tempe data center so the only connection I had with team mates was by conference call."
