"I worked for Volt Workforce Solutions and I decided to move on because the environment was not something I sought myself working in. It was very unfriendly and negative. I didn't expect prosper in a negative environment. I was told my position is set to be as far as I can go in the company. I didn't enjoy working for a company where there was no room for growth."

What do you like about working at Volt Workforce Solutions?

"I do not like anything about working for this company except the fact that I have a job."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"If you have any other job offer do not interview with this company; only do it as a last resort before taking a minimum wage position."

What don't you like about working at Volt Workforce Solutions?

"I have to keep track of my hours so that I can make sure that I am getting paid correctly; and that after working 1960 hours I have to submit to have my bonus sent to me, because if you do not request it they will not pay you the money that they owe you for your work. If a contract ends that you are working on they do nothing to find out if it is going to be extended; and they do nothing to find you another contract to work on."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Keep your employees/contractors happy. Give them pay raises or promotions if you want them to keep working for you. Also make sure that they have work to do if their contract is going to end, as they should not have to worry that in a couple months they may not have a job."

"Frustrating. My reviews are all for Volt, not the other co. I work for."

What don't you like about working at Volt Workforce Solutions?

"They make money off of me without finding me a job (I was found my the company I work for and they use volt to process my paychecks) no benefits, holiday pay is nearly impossible to get and no vacation. "Southern California Edison was a nice place to work. The people I worked with were very nice. If I had the chance to go back, I would. Since there are so many different levels of IT, I only had access to do a limited amount of tasks, which sometimes made it difficult to get the job done. Overall, SCE was a great experience for me."

"I love where I have been contracted out to work....everything about that aspect is great!BUT, this agency is the worst! They can't seem to pay me. They upgrade their system and then screw up everyone's passcodes to get hours entered and approved. Then once approved the check still doesn't arrive in the mail when its supposed to. They have the audicity to tell me that I may have to drive to them and pick up the check! BS I refuse to take time off of work to drive out to their location in order to be paid. Its their responsibility to pay us in a timely manner per the contract that we sign."
