What do you like about working at Cofer-Adams Building Center?
"As a part owner in a family business, I most enjoyed the responsibility of developing our key market strategies, product mix, pricing and engineered wood products to best serve the needs of our customers and employees. Our customer attrition rate was extremely low at about 4% vs an industry average of about 15%. I was always able to develop new skills in diverse business functions."
What don't you like about working at Cofer-Adams Building Center?
"95% of a family business is great. Unless you have been in one, you would not understand the other 5%."

"The company is Electroglas. I enjoyed integrating a division into the larger parent. This taught me how to politic in a large company sucessfully."

"Be prepared. Understand where the company has come from and their current plans to regrow the business."
What don't you like about working at Electroglas?
"I was recruited to go to Leica after Electroglas stole a huge order from Leica that they thought they had in the bag."

"The firm has greatly downsized since I left. As I do not know the current management or their strategies, it would be difficult to offer suggestions with reengaging with the team."

"The technolgy and the opportunity to work out of the box when required.....get the job done....what ever it takes! Customer is KING! President of the company is a great team player."
