"If culture remains the same, entrepreneurial people will be very unhappy. Seek those who value stability and consistency but who are less interested in vision and change."

What don't you like about working at Medco Health Solutions?

"Very inward, operations culture with little focus on or understanding of the value of sales, marketing, and business development. Very short sighted business decisions lacking involvement or genuine concern for the customers who actually sustain the business."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Five year plans vs. 6 month planning cycle. Look beyond the horizon and be ready with viable, sustainable strategies. Segments of the business are growing fast where Medco/Accredo do not participate today to any meaningful degree. Waiting to become involved is unwise and will leave the company with few options 3-5 years down the road."
