"I've worked for UW Medicine for over 5 years and it is a great place to work at, especially in the IT section of the company. It gives you a great feeling of helping the community while getting to work on the forefront of technology. Having the UW and it's network as a backbone is just amazing. I also feel that my suggestions are listened to by my supervisor, manager and the internal customers I support. Would not want to leave."

"Working in the Academia sector can be great and it can be challenging as well. Many politics just as the private sector but you at least feel you have a voice and can contribute to the outcome. The campus was always beautiful to work in. The variety of hats you will have to wear just get things done I feel can only increase your value as a person."

"I worked there for almost 1.5 years on multiple projects, while on some the expectation is high but the supervisors are good. Given that this was a part-time job while I was studying I think it was a good experience for me."
