University of Colorado Overview University of Colorado, founded in 1876, is made up of four different campuses in the Rocky Mountain Region of Colorado. The campuses are found in Boulder, Colorado Springs, Denver, and the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus. The university has an enrollment of over 60,000 students. Students may choose undergraduate degrees in business, engineering, education, as well as medical and law degrees.
