"Wait 8 years The census is a constitutionally mandated count of the population of the United States of America that takes place once every 10 years."

What don't you like about working at United States Census Bureau?

"I wish that they could have employed me for longer. Government bureaucracy can be at times frustrating, and mistrust of the government by the people that you are interviewing is often a challenge."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"I would think hard about quality control, and/or workplace fraud, but I know that the reason that they don't think very hard about workplace is that they have trouble recruiting enough workers, and they do not in any way want to scare anybody off. I did some amount of follow-up and I know that there was some very sloppy work done."

What do you like about working at United States Census Bureau?

"Working with the government and helpping our country keep its Census Account and its Economy."

"Be patient and polite. All answers will be collected no matter what problems you come across."

What don't you like about working at United States Census Bureau?

"People who were rude answering questions about the Census. Alot of anti-government people out there."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"None really, the training covers all aspects. Supervisor is on stand by if incase of trouble."

"The people and travel. Had a lot of fun seeing new places and meeting others."

"I would recommend that anyone interviewing for this position be very enthusiastic about their abilities."

"Being a part-time temporary assignment didn't allow for very much growth. And the hiring process wasn't focused on filterting talent."

"I would recommend continued reviews throughout the campaign for Crew Leaders and Field Operations Supervisors."

"This is not an alternative to unemployment as many expected! It is an 8-10 hour day 5 days/wk without benefits, for less than unemployment provides. there is no flexibility in scheduling or local interpretation of management directives."
