"Be open and honest, don't over dress, this is a very casual and informal organization, a casual suit or business casual ensemble is acceptable."

"There was little opportunity for me to grow within the company and still play a role in training."

"Encourage management to attend and receive management training more frequently, at least every other year."

"I love working with directors, customers, vendors and co-workers and making sure that everything runs smoothly through-out the day. I love the challenges and some of the daily stress work brings to the table!"

"Do your research before you apply for a job and don't let them play you down."
What don't you like about working at Thermo Fisher Scientific?
"Some managers never acknowledge you are around. Some hate that you are in control of certain duties and make your life horrible.im a team player and innovative. Some employees also have an issue with that."

"Treat employees just a bit better and with more respect!"

"There are opportunities to advance in the company based upon hard work and dedication."

"Be professional even though it is retail. Know that you have to work a variety of hours, shifts and holidays."

"Management can restrict you but increase your responsibilities to seem as if your job is impossible."

"Better time management with all associates. Reevaluate payroll and staffing."

"Great emphasis on Sales Training Program for all new hires."

"As long as you are in Sales and are ok with not making much money for a base you are good to go."
What don't you like about working at ReachLocal?
"The company grew so fast they threw dollars at on boarding training. There was lots of emphasis on ongoing sales training programs but unless you were part of the sales team or services team, there we're few development opportunities offered for other departments."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"One of the founders attends every training class for new hired and is very much engaged from the start.What he lacks in is anyone who is not in a revenue producing role within the company. If I were running the show I would stay engaged with all employees within the company not just the ones that service the bottom line revenue stream."

"I would suggest being yourself and being confident in your abilties."

"Although I enjoyed having freedom within the company, I would have preferred to have more organization."
