"Relax, be yourself, and be ready and willing to do just about anything that comes with retail."

"The rigid nature of some within leadership, and their lack of creativity."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Promote from within. My time at the company I saw many new people as ETL's and only a small handful of existing Team Members promoted."

"More challenging projects, fun environment, career growth, personal growth and family connect with the other team members."

"Do not follow me, I may not be a good leader. :)"

"Still trying to figure it... everyone has their own personal preferences... I would like to keep it to myself as learning and try to work upon it."

"More learning curves and personal growth for employees with a little more vacation time. :)"

"I would say that they should consider the length of time they will be there."

"I don't like the lack of pay raises or the lack of advancement opportunities."

"I suggest that management allow people to advance quicker, and give better pay raises."

"Peers are outstanding. Company programs, benefits, training, flexibility, diversity, communication are all top notch."

"Be friendly. Target prizes attitude over EVERYTHING ELSE. If you are fresh out of school and need a job, regardless of what field your degree is in, Target will hire you as long as you are a cheerleader for their programs."

What don't you like about working at Target?

"The hours are inconsistent when working a swing shift. Opportunity for advancement is given to recent college graduates over team members with decades of service and experience."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Promotions should be determined by a team member's capability, drive, performance and results. A college degree and a smile is a poor substitute for years of hard work."
