"I like my customers, peers, staff, and the level of executional excellence it requires to accomplish business goals on a daily basis."

What don't you like about working at Taco Bell?

"I don't like poor communication from upper management. (I feel you perfect programs/changes at the top and then roll them out for optimal execution.) No respect is shown for a work/life balance need. Not all basic needed tools to execute business at maximum levels are available; however, expectation remains the same."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Understand the staff working for you has the will and drive to succeed on a daily basis, both short-term and long-term. Focus is needed at the production level, and providing all necessary tools to accomplish the expectations are needed to succeed. Understand your visions and goals are in the right mindset; however, focus more on providing staffing levels to accomplish store-to-store financial goals. You need to spend money to earn money; industry standard operates at a 16% to 18% labor budget. Running a 25,000 to 30,000 USD operation per week at a 14.67% labor budget is the root cause of your door revolving consistently. Do not provide scheduling programs that show to schedule 9 employees during a peak period and only give enough budget to employ 5. This literally is causing all employees to work responsibilities of 3 positions per employee. This mentality must change or the general manager will never accomplish the long-term goal of success."

Assistant Manager

"Taco Bell is for you if you are not afraid of hard work."

What do you like about working at Taco Bell?

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Be prepared to be efficient without being sloppy."

What don't you like about working at Taco Bell?

"There was a lot of sweat, lifting, and manual labor. Also, a lot of the employees were young (high school or college-aged) and so they were not always dependable to be at work during their scheduled times."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Make sure employees are getting an adequate amount of breaks throughout the day so that they can refuel their stamina in such a high-paced environment."
